What is the box renting procedure?
To rent a box, simply contact our team to schedule an appointment. During your visit, we’ll guide you through the rental process and assist you in selecting the ideal box size to meet your needs.
Do I have the privilege to add additional members, if yes, how many can I add to my account?
You can include up to [insert number] additional members on your account, each with their own designated access credentials and rights for added convenience and security. For further details, kindly consult the Rental Agreement.
How many keys will be provided for my box?
Upon rental, you will receive [insert number] keys for your box. These are the sole copies allocated to your box. Our policy dictates that we do not retain duplicates of customer keys. In the event of key loss, an additional fee applies for lock replacement and the creation of two new keys by our authorized locksmith. Members are prohibited from duplicating keys, as this action constitutes a breach of our terms. Violation of this policy may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and potential denial of renewal for the subsequent term.
What is the minimum duration of rental?

What are the payment options for my box rental?
Accepted payment methods include MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Zelle, checks, and wire transfers, with potential fees applicable. What happens if I am unable to pay the rent on time or if I miss a payment?
If you are unable to cover the account fee, you must formally request the closure of your account, whereby we will utilize the security deposit to settle any outstanding balance. In the event of late payment, a late fee will be incurred. Please consult the rental agreement for detailed information regarding automatic payment authorization, late fee charges, and other relevant details.
Do Knight Private Vault offer insurance options for items stored in your vault?
Yes, we offer customizable insurance options tailored to suit the value and nature of your stored items. Our insurance coverage provides an additional layer of protection and peace of mind against unforeseen circumstances such as theft, damage, or loss.
Can I upgrade or downsize my storage unit based on changing needs?
Absolutely! We understand that your storage requirements may evolve over time. Our flexible storage solutions allow you to easily upgrade or downsize your storage unit to accommodate your changing needs. Simply contact our team, and we’ll assist you with seamless transition arrangements.
What types of valuables and how much can be stored in Knight Private Vault?
Our vault is designed to accommodate a wide range of valuables, including but not limited to jewelry, precious metals, important documents, heirlooms, fine art, and collectibles. Whatever you treasure, we have the facilities and expertise to keep them safe and secure. The contract will specify the maximum weight accepted per box. It will vary depending on the size and location of the box.
Is it possible to terminate the contract at any point?
Yes, you can cancel your rental contract at any time by providing advance notice to our team. However, please note that the Contract Commitment remains in effect. Any outstanding dues or fees are outlined in the Rental Agreement. Please refer to our terms and conditions for cancellation policies and any associated fees.
Can I authorize a third party to access my box on my behalf?
Yes, you can arrange for a third party to access your box by providing written authorization and ensuring that they comply with our access protocols and procedures. If the individual is not a registered user, they will not be permitted to enter the Vault, even if they present your key or attempt to contact us via phone or email. For security reasons, access to the Vault is restricted to authorized users only.
What happens to my box in the event of an unexpected death?
In our Rental Agreement, you have the option to designate authorized user(s) who can access your Safe Deposit Box in the unfortunate event of your passing. They will need to present your key along with a notarized Death Certificate to confirm your identity. Upon verification, the authorized individual can use your key to access the contents of the box. In the event they do not possess the key, our certified locksmith can replace the lock for an additional fee. If a client has not assigned authorized user(s) for their Safe Deposit Box, we require documentation such as the Death Certificate, Will, and Court Order authorizing the release of the Safe Deposit Box. Additionally, Knight Private Vault offers inheritance or Will Boxes specifically designed to be opened after your passing or on a predetermined date of your choosing. These boxes are sealed with wax until the designated time for opening. Fees for these services are paid in advance for a minimum of 3 years and qualify for a special discount.
